Resource providers are responsible for the quality of the components, products, and services they deliver. The quality is confirmed by certificates and documented records of tests and tests. A technically competent team from Products, Designers, Supplies and Engineers, Mass Production Department, participate in the selection of suppliers of hull components to be sourced from outside companies, ensuring that these suppliers are competent and qualified to supply the relevant components.
Periodically and at each delivery, suppliers must certify that the necessary product quality tests are carried out.
A logbook is kept of the incoming documentation for each delivery.
A logbook is kept of the procedure for claims and returns.

Quality management approach.

The purpose of this plan is to confirm that the results of the project are of an acceptable quality level. Quality management, according to this plan, guarantees the quality of project results and the quality of processes used to manage and produce results.
The quality management plan identifies the following key components

Subject to quality review

Quality assessment methods
Quality standards for project implementation

Criteria for completeness and correctness.

The project is on time and within budget.
All the basic functions of the appliance are complete and work at 97% without errors/defects.
The machine body is made to quality requirements and works at 99% without defects.
A warranty service team has been trained.
The necessary accompanying instrument has been created.
Batch production runs at 98% error-free.
4. Quality control activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
At the completion of each of the stages described below, a quality test is conducted and a log of the test, test results and corrective actions are taken. The standards described in points 2 and 3 are complied with.

The stages are:

  • Ready version of the case.
  • Every ready version of the GUI.
  • Ready version of a touch screen.
  • Every working version of your own operating system.
  • All ready-made apps and their accessibility on the App Store.
  • Every working version of remote control.

When the results of the stages do not meet the requirements, corrective action is taken.
1.For external contractors:
-Return with a detailed description of the defects and a description of the expected result.
-In case of an inability to fulfill the criteria, the risk of changing the contractor shall be assessed and, if necessary, a change shall be made.
2. For the stages that work in the company.
-A detailed log of tests and defects is kept. They are returned to the corrections department and tested again.
-If the defects are many and recurring, the project criteria are clarified again and properly understood.

Stakeholder expectations.

Frequency of quality control actions. Stakeholders’ management may be important at this stage related to quality change expectations.

-When working on the stages, if there are running versions, not even fully compliant.
– For each completed project unit
– Each integration of two or more project units
-At the end of every milestone.

  • Project processes to be tested and controlled.
  • Manage time and budget.
  • Manage process changes.
  • Estimation process
  • Management of the processes of communication processes.
  • Testing processes.
  • Processing to produce a ready-made version.
  • Any working version of the functionality.

The project manager, directors, and project sponsors participation

The project manager, program manager, and project sponsors actively participate in following the requirements and check the standards and management of the quality expectations.

Quality assurance activities.

The proper conduct of these activities is in the positive answer to some questions.
-Every team member is familiar with the requirements and expectations of the project he is directly interested in working on? Read the details about the Process requirements.
– Are periodic progress reports prepared? – Yes, progress reports, tests completed, units completed on a recurring duty cycle (iteration)
– Are there regular meetings? – Yes, according to the needs of the project and the accepted methodology for work (daily internal, weekly in several teams, general meetings with the client for a period of time, client’s demo when there are any completion and something to show him. n)
-Do you get feedback on defects after testing? – All defects found are corrected, and if this is not possible, look for another approach to meeting the requirements
-Do you keep a performance report? – Yes, it is recommended that you use project management software (for example, Jira, which allows you to extract different types of exports, according to the entered tickets and work in a given project) use the so-called team velocity (which determines the speed for effective work of the team), as well as charts showing how many tickets/work are made and work is effective
-Are logs for returned defective items from suppliers? -more than likely
-Does training related to the new product receive the people who will provide the after-sales service? – mandatory

Frequency of quality assurance activities.

Quality assurance audit once a week, accompanied by a report.
Quality assurance checklist at the end of each stage.
Quality checklist for each running version.

Risk assessment and defects

1. Exposure and identification of possible risks that may prevent the project from being successful. Read about Risk management practices in project management.
1.1 external factors – marketing (until such time as the product is released, there will be no such demand, the unexpected stopping of production of any resource, bankruptcy of an enterprise)
1.2 internal factors directly related to the production of the product – lack of human flow – lack of resources (materials, cash resources) – lack of time
– defects that stop the product. Read about the Defects analysis.
The product is guaranteed to be ready within the given timeframe without critical and important defects, on the basis of a risk assessment after reviewing all specifications – the so-called MVP “minimum viable product” coverage.
A so-called “product recall strategy” is also made, if there is any general defect, how quickly it can be pulled back, the defect repaired and the product returned to the market.
– create a defect table that is
* critical defect – basic functionality may not work / item does not do as expected (on / off button does not work / washer drum falls at over 400 rpm/seal does not seal well and leaks water/touch drawer does not work at touch).
* important defect – broken functionality that does not directly interfere with the main work of the product/item does not do what is expected (BlueTooth communication with phones does not work, assuming that the main job (MVP) of the washing machine is to wash/soften the valve in the drawer does not open and does not enter into use).
